It's a Virtual Run/Walk!!!
We all fell in love with the crew of Serenity, and are stuck with our addiction. Don't fight it- run it! Spend a few moments longer with Mal and crew, and raise money for charity while you're at it.
"When does the race take place?"
Whenever and wherever you want it to take place.
"What's with the 14?"
Ta ma de! Nimen de bizui! You don't know?? Only 14 episodes were released!
"When does registration close?"
Registration will close when we sell out of medals.
"Do I have to run/walk it all at once? "
Nope, you sure don't. You have as many days as needed. If you walk one mile a day, then walk 14 days and you get the medal. Weeks? That works. Months? Sure. Years? Ok, now you're just mudders milking it.
"How do you know that I completed the race?"
It's called the honor system. We know you're not Alliance. Your hands aren't blue.
"I got injured and can't finish my distance! What do I do?"
Email us. We're reasonable Browncoats. We get that gos se happens.
"What do I get for my money?"
A kickass medal that you don't have to steal.
"Well, wuh duh ma huh tah duh fong kwong duh wai shung."
Yeah, that's what we said, too.
"Are the shiny medals for each race the same?"
The14k medal is identical to the 14 mile medal, but the ribbon is orange (Hero of Canton, anyone?).
"Tsai boo shr!"
Yes, way!
"Where does my money go?"
100% of your money goes to helping Galgos come to homes in the US through Daphne Legacy Tour.
"What the heck is a Galgo???"
A Galgo is a Spanish Greyhound.
Borrowed from Galgos del Sol's website: "The Galgo Español or Spanish greyhound is an ancient breed and a member of the sighthound family. Despite being called a “greyhound”, the Spanish Galgo is not closely related to the English or Irish Greyhound, the lineage of the two breeds being different. Galgos are not typically considered as pet worthy in Spain and their lives end in less than humane ways either in perreras (kill stations) or abandoned to a life of persecution on the streets."
